VANDALS wrecked a children's vegetable plot at Bere Alston sometime between 4pm on Monday and 8am on Tuesday.

Children from The Cabin playgroup had spent the day on Monday planting seeds and vegetables only to find their plot vandalised the next morning.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 and quote reference JT/13/272.

Playgroup staff are appealing for donations of seed or plants or fencing so that they can protect the area from future attacks.
