South Molton 7 Okehampton Argyle under 12s 3 OKEHAMPTON were playing against a strong side, and this game was always going to be difficult. Buoyed up by Argyle?s 12-0 win last week, Okehampton Argyle got off to a good start. A cross by Will Searle to Bradley Ausden gave Okehampton the lead 1-0 in the first few minutes. South Molton very quickly relatiated, equalising in equally quick time. This looked like it could be a lively match. And it was. This South Molton goal was shortly followed by a second. South Molton kept the pressure on Argyle, with Okehampton Argyle?s goalkeeper Will Ingram being kept busy. Despite good defence by Okehampton, South Molton scored yet again. Argyle came back and a great tactical run by Okehampton?s Andy Collier brought the score up to 3-2. In the dying minutes of the first half, South Molton scored their fourth goal. South Molton continued to keep the pressure up in the second half scoring two more goals. More goals might have been scored but for the valiant efforts of Okehampton Argyle?s goalkeeper Will Ingram who made some superb saves. The play though was not just one way. Okehampton?s Bradley Ausden managed to outsmart the goalkeeper but his shot narrowly missed. More saves by Will Ingram continued, but eventually South Molton succeeded with the score going to 7-2. Andy Collier, Jake Ayris and Bradley continued to battle on and finally their determination paid off, when a goal set up by Bradley was slammed into the back of the net by Andy Collier.
