NOW that the Castle Hospital has closed, it is disgusting how dog walkers are leaving the area with more and more of their dogs? mess blatantly ignored; even one lot practically on the front doorstep.

One owner of two large dogs was observed from a distance to let his animals deposit at this spot and blithely walk on.

What visitors must think of our town as they take this once pleasant way to the castle and its woods I dread to think.

This complete disregard of their responsibilities also reflects on those dog owners who always clear up as they go and always have done.
