A NEW charity which supports lonely and isolated people is holding two meetings in Tavistock over the next three weeks.

'United' provides a friendly environment for lonely people to talk to others in the same position and gives them the opportunity to, hopefully, develop friendships.

Everyone is welcome regardless of age.

The meetings in Tavistock will take place on September 24 and October 1 at The Rundle Room in Tavistock Town Hall between noon and 3pm. There are also upcoming meetings in Plymouth and Exeter.
