A HIGH quality of entries were seen at the recent Milton Abbot Village Show with the children?s classes particularly difficult to judge this year, including a wonderful display of flags by the under fives. Gill Holland took the cup for the most points in the show.

Other trophy winners were: Gill Holland, most points in floral art classes; Cyril Blatchford, best exhibit in floral art classes; Sir Richard Lawson, best roses, best exhibit in flower classes and most points in flower classes; Arthur Vigars, most points in vegetable classes; John Spur, best vegetables in the show; Sue Champion, most points in fruit classes; Hilary Tucker, most points in cookery classes; Carol Martin, best exhibit in cookery classes; Kay Appelt, most points in handicraft classes; Sonya Watson, best exhibit in handicraft classes; Mike Marker, most points in photography classes and best exhibit; Doreen Atkinson, most points for WI member.
