OKEHAMPTON U12s and U16s girls competed in the Tearfund football tournament at Westward Ho!

The U12s won the tournament and the U16s were beaten in the finals.

The U12s did not lose a match in the whole competition, scoring 20 goals and conceding one. They played four games in the league, then the semi-final and the final.

The team consisted of Sian Aslett (captain), Georgia Kelly, Lisa May, Sam Robertson, Kelly Jenkins, Melanie Balsdon, Ellie Coldourne, Kayley Andrew.

The U16s scored 9 goals and the first conceded was in losing the final 1-0 to Barnstaple Lions A.

They won their league and beat North Molton in the semi-final.

The team consisted of Siobhan Aslett, Shauna Drew, Jenna Drew, Terry Grant, Naomi Wilkins, Cathy Rice, Becky Davey.

Both teams received medals and the U12s were presented with a trophy for winning their competition.
