Plymouth Rangers 3

HORRABRIDGE remain unbeaten in the league after this hard earned win against an impressive side.

The match was barely ten minutes old when forward Toby Chapman showed pace and composure in front of goal to give Horrabridge the lead.

However, their opponents played excellent football and scored two quick goals to go 2-1 ahead.

This proved to be a wake-up call for Horrabridge, and they replied with three goals before half-time, one from Chapman and two from leading scorer Sam Branch.

The second half started with Plymouth Rangers putting pressure on their opponents and almost pulling a goal back when a long-range free kick smashed against the bar.

Horrabridge?s superior fitness began to tell and they took control with goals from Sam Cooper, Jamie Hall and two more from Chapman, giving him four in the match.

Plymouth Rangers scored their third on the final whistle with a well taken shot.

Tavistock Town U13s 4

AFTER five weeks with no games Tavistock faced a tough local derby.

The first half belonged to the home side who were more determined in many departments.

Only last-ditch defending from Luke Dunne, Jack Jessop, Reuben Grice and Ben Pridham and fine goalkeeping from Ollie McCrea kept the scores level.

The hard working front duo of Aidan Hogg and Nick Cribbett were replaced for the second half. Jamie Doyle sliced through the Horrabridge defence for a superb opening goal.

This seemed to wake up Tavistock and the midfield partnership of Adam Dodd and Alex Carter took control.

The first of two fantastic individual goals from Martin Hughes increased Tavistock?s lead, with the Bridger?s Barry Dann scoring in between.

The tireless work of wide men Adam Burbridge and man of the match David Corrales continued to give the Bridge defence headaches.

The scoreline was completed with another excellent goal from Tom Sherrell.
