OKEHAMPTON Argyle U8s enjoyed a series of matches in the Tony Pryce Mid Devon Soccer League where there played SK Plymouth, Bradninch and Cheriton Bishop.
Phil Squires, whose building firm sponsors the team, said: 'Owing to the FA rules we cannot publish results but it was a mixed afternoon for the U8s. I think they found it difficult to adapt their normal flow of quailty football on Bradninch's sloping pitch but they did get better as the afternoon progressed.'
Next month the U8s travel to SK Plymouth at Saltash and on January 18 the Mid Devon Soccer league comes to Simmons Park, Okehampton at 1pm.
The boys will be playing teams from Cullompton, Crediton, Bradninch and Cheriton Fitzpaine. Anyone wishing to join Okehampton U8s or the U7s please ring Phil on 07837 030188.
