TAVISTOCK came off three superb results to win yet again against a team who were in good form but the home side could and should have scored at least five more goals had they had their 'shooting boots' on.
Tavistock scored after five minutes with a well worked goal by Ben Pridham. Their superiority continued yet Tavistock could not add to their score before half time despite numerous chances for a number of players.
Man of the match Josh Robins ran rings around the Hooe defence but could not find the final pass or shot to score more. Tavistock also lost Nathan Alford to a broken collar bone.
Tavistock upped their game from the start of the second half and Josh Robins scored a great header from an equally great Jamie Court cross. This was to be the way of the whole of the second half but the only time Tavistock could add to their 2-0 lead was yet another Robins well worked goal.

THE VISITORS gave away an early goal and looked vulnerable in the first ten minutes.
But Tavistock refused to lie down and with target man Josh Robins up front started to cause one or two problems for the opposition defence.
Conor Ayres worked hard at the head of midfield and wingers Ben Pridham and Adam Davies helped created a few chances for Tavistock but could not convert them, leaving the score 1-0 at half time.
In the second half Tavistock put more pressure on the opposition - this they did particularly from Robins up front, Chris Hoar and Dom Matcham in midfield, Joel Blatchford, Scott Doidge, Nick Cribbett and Jamie Court at the back.
Player of the match keeper Jamie Montgomery also made a number of fantastic saves to keep the score at 1-0.
Tavistock continued to attack at every opportunity — the best of these saw Josh Robins play Ben Pridham in on the right for him to blast the ball past the onrushing keeper to equalise. With 15 minutes to go Tavistock lost captain Matcham through injury and had to finish the game with just 10 men. This they did with aplomb and gained a richly deserved draw in a game which could have gone either way.
l On Thursday Tavistock U18s play Saltash U18s, kick-off 7pm at home and Millbrook on Sunday, kick-off at noon, also at home.
