WADEBRIDGE kicked off the scoring through Joe Whitehead, who slid through a the home defence with electric speed.
Tavistock redressed the early deficit with a well taken try by Will Coulton, after a lovely passing move through the backs. There were a further try a piece before half time — Wadebridge scored through Bradley Wood, and then Tavistock's Sam Northmore scored for the hosts after the best move of the day, created by Australian guest player, Alex Brown.
However, at half time Wadebridge led 12-14 by a missed conversion taken by Alex Brown. Chris Swas scored the first for Tavistock.
Tavistock in the second half started to make the pressure, which was building at the end of the first half, count. Sam Pluckrose, a Tavistock second row player, finished off a superb team try, which was kept alive by intelligent play by Tom Russon.
The last try of the match, by Tavistock's Jeremy Massey-Birch killed the game.
