OKEHAMPTON started slowly but gradually got into the game and after 30 minutes took the lead. A great through ball by Bickle spotted Voaden's run, Voaden shot but the goalkeeper parried before Voaden knocked in the rebound.
Argyle started to dominate and scored a second following a breakaway from Heavitree; Voaden won the ball and drove forward towards the Heavitree area, passed the ball to Burns, who took it round the keeper and laid it off to Goodwin who crossed to Crimmins who scored.
At the start of the second half Heavitree pulled a goal back when a good long range shot looped over Dearing in goal. To Argyle's credit their did not drop their heads and carried on playing good football and secured a third goal when a through ball by Voaden trickled through the keeper's legs.
Heavitree pulled one back when a free kick by was cleared by Okehampton but who were slow to react to the second ball and thee Exeter side scored.
This was a fine display and thoroughly deserved win by Okehampton.
The Okehampton defence of Josh Stanbury Gross and Mallett had an outstanding game not allowing Heavitree any chances from open play.
