KELLY College U13 VII took part in their Plymouth Schools Netball tournament last week and returned with silver medals. Each member of the squad played in at least one game during the tournament.
Results in pool games were: against John Kitto Community College, won 7-3; Hele?s School, won 7-0; Lipson School, won 5-1; Notre Dame School, won 6-1; Tamarside School, won 11-0.
The pool games over, the team progressed to the semi-final in which they beat Stoke Damerel School 5-1.
The final proved a harder test against Plymstock School. The team were losing 1-4 at half-time, but with determination pulled back to 4-4. In the dying seconds, Plymstock scored the last two goals, giving a final score of 6-4 to them.
