A WET and windy afternoon saw Crediton open the scoring in the first two minutes with a well taken goal. In a determined effort Okehampton equalised moments later with a goal from Paul Gent.
In a hard fought game both teams raced from end to end trying to add to their tally of goals. William Searle crossed the ball into the goalmouth and Andrew Collier scored Okehampton?s second.
Okehampton made three substitutions at half-time, losing their main defender through injury.
Crediton levelled the score with Will Ingram, Okehampton?s keeper, making the initial save but the ball rebounding into the path of another Crediton player who scored.
Okehampton fought hard in midfield and put Bradley Ausden through. After three attempts on goal his perseverance paid off with another goal. Crediton stepped up their game and Ingram made several critical saves as Crediton attempted to level the scores.
The pressure continued in the Okehampton goalmouth and despite the keeper producing some of his best saves to date Crediton?s pressure paid off with an equaliser moments before the end.
