THE scoreline does not tell the true story of this hard fought match. Kingsbridge are harder, stronger and faster than most of their opposition and Tavistock were no exception.
Seventeen Tavistock boys made up the squad.
It would be unfair to single out any individuals as they all played their hearts out from the first to the last whistle.
Tavistock put some well worked plays together in the first half and were unlucky enough to have two tries disallowed.
The scrum held their own and won several against the head, turning defence into attack and releasing the backs who came close to scoring on many occasions.
This Sunday the Tavistock team play host to Ivybridge.
