TWO people were trapped in a car after a collision on the B3260 near Okehampton on Monday.

Ambulance control requested the assistance of the fire service at the collision at Stockley just before 5.30pm, in which two people were reported trapped.

Fire crews from Okehampton and North Tawton attended the incident and confirmed that the collision involved two vehicles and two people were trapped in one of the cars. Both were released by the fire and ambulance crews using spinal boards.
