TWO men from Tavistock will appear at Plymouth Crown Court next month on charges of blackmail and burglary.
Mark Stephens, aged 47, of Trinity Way, and Ross Lewis, aged 19, of Springhill, were arrested on June 11 following an incident in Tavistock.
Both men were later charged and appeared before Plymouth magistrates.
The court heard they were charged with making an unwarranted demand for £5,000.
They were also charged with entering by trespass a premises in Tavistock and stealing a BB gun.
Both men were remanded into custody and will next appear at Plymouth Crown Court on July 8.
