TWO people were trapped in their vehicles after a collision on the A30 at Sticklepath last Thursday. Two fire crews from Okehampton and one from Chagford attended just before 7am, along with the police and emergency services. A black Jeep and Saab were involved in the collision on the Exeter-bound carriageway. The woman of one of the vehicles was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter hospital with a head injury, which was not thought to be life threatening. Both lanes were completely blocked by the incident, which caused significant traffic tailbacks in the area. The road was opened around 11.10am.
