HOME-MADE soups using local ingredients and home-made artisan bread will be on offer at a special village harvest supper in Buckland Monachorum tomorrow (Friday).

In addition to enjoying some lovely food, the event is an opportunity to find out more about the Buckland Food Growers' Group, the allotment group and the community breadmaking group, which meets once a month.

The event, which starts at 7.30pm, is being held in Buckland Community Chapel, next door to St Andrew's Primary School— bring along a bottle, a bowl and a spoon and a pudding if you would like one.

Entry is by ticket only — seating is limited to 60 — for a voluntary donation of £3 per person.
