FOR all those who want to embroider but have never got round to learning, an introductory embroidery course will be on offer in Tavistock next week.

Members of the Tavistock and District branch of the Embroiderers' Guild will be teaching novices at the Royal British Legion.

No previous experience is necessary for this course and equipment will be supplied for a minimum fee.

The course will start on Monday (September 6) between 7pm and 9pm. A daytime session is also on offer, starting at 10.30am and finishing at 3.30pm.

Anyone who wishes to continue after a few visits will need to become a member of the Embroiderers' Guild.
