TRY your hand at shooting, with a simulated game clay shoot in aid of three charities.

The shoot has been organised by the Tavistock Clay Pigeon Club in conjunction with Sydenham Estate, to benefit the RNLI, Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Chestnut Appeal., and will take place at the Sydenham Estate in Lewdown on Sunday, May 18 between 9.30am and 2pm.

Teams of three are invited to shoot a flush of 50 targets from each of the four stands — High Driven Pheasant, Decoyed Pigeon, Duck Flush and Driven Partridge.

Entry is £100 per team, including a hog roast lunch, or £90 if the entry form is received before Sunday May 4.

Teams can be made up on the day so bring a gun and some cartridges. Re-entries, if time permits, will be £36 per team. Entries on the day will close at 1pm.

There will also be a £50 pool shoot and a £50 'Teal Challenge'.
