AFTER 25 years of voluntary service to the National Trust, Margaret Delisle-Gray (pictured right) was recently presented with specially commissioned watercolour paintings of Buckland Abbey and Saltram House. The property manager at Buckland Abbey in Yelverton gave Mrs Delisle-Gray the paintings of the two places at which she had volunteered, as a lasting reminder of her years of service. Anyone wishing to become a volunteer should get in contact with the National Trust at Buckland Abbey, as staff are looking for people who enjoy organised holidays in the UK, regular day outings and things of interest. There will be open days about becoming a volunteer on Saturday, March 4 from 2pm to 5pm or Tuesday, April 25 from 10.30am to 5pm.
