A TAVISTOCK woman received a long service award last week after notching up 20 years with accountants Francis Clark.
Trudy Farmer, who with her husband, Tim, is a leading light of Tavistock Musical Theatre Company, joined the firm in 1982, when it was known as Robins. The firm merged with Francis Clark four years later.
Trudy began her career with the firm as a trainee accountant and is now office manager with responsibility for a number of clients, many of whom she has worked with for several years.
?I have always enjoyed working for the firm, and I have seen many changes,? said Trudy. ?Somebody asked me if there had been any highlights, and to be honest I have loved every minute of it ? and will continue to do so.?
Guy Talbot, partner at Francis Clark, added: ?I am delighted to be able to present Trudy with her 20-year long service award, and I and my colleagues look forward to working with her for many years to come. She is a popular team member and our clients love working with her.?
