Town went into the lead through the lively Daniel Adams who caused the Trophyman defence problems all game.
Town were now on top and excellent midfield play from Luke Stephenson, Ross Leggett, David Smyly and James Follett provided the platform for many more attacks.
A minute before half-time Trophyman equalised as Tavistock lost concentration. Trophyman scored again in the first five minutes of the second half despite excellent defending from Stephen Law, Michael Morgan, Scott Pluckrose and Ollie Payne.
The introduction of Paul Waddle changed the momentum of the game and Tavistock were unlucky not to equalise. And they were kept in the game by excellent goalkeeping from Karl Griffiths.
Despite a lot of effort from Tavistock, who deserved at least a share of the points, Trophyman managed to hang on for the win.

During the second half Tavistock lost their shape as Plympton fought back, resulting in sustained pressure on the defence and scored.
