SUPPORTERS of Tavistock Peace Action Group lent their weight to a demonstration in Plymouth last Saturday, protesting at the Trident nuclear weapons system.
The demonstration was organised by the Nuclear Free Coalition in Plymouth and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
Tavistock Peace Action Group supports the need to restructure Britain?s defence strategy on non-nuclear lines and is opposed to all weapons of mass destruction.
The next meeting of Tavistock Peace Action Group will be held on October 22 at 7.30pm at the Friends Meeting House in Tavistock and will focus on the case against war with Iraq ? all are welcome.
