THE music of the legendary T-Rex will be recreated next month at The Wharf, Tavistock. Tribute band T-Rextasy have been hailed as ?the closest you could ever come to experiencing T-Rex in the 2000s?. Danielz, the lead singer of T-Rextasy, looks and sounds amazingly like the late Marc Bolan. He and other members of T-Rextasy play without the ?artificial aids? such as backing tapes and wigs, which are the usual props of tribute groups. T-Rextasy made its debut in 1992 in an East London club. Since then, they have sold out at venues throughout Britain and on the Continent. They have attracted both new and old fans of the original band, including former T-Rex drummer, Bell Legend. T-Rextasy plays to audiences covering a wide age group and their choise of material always includes T-Rex?s top hits, such as ?Metal Guru?, ?Jeepster?, ?Telegram Sam? and ?Children of the Revolution?. T-Rextasy will appear at The Wharf on November 18 at 8pm. Box office: 01822 611166.
