A POIGNANT tribute of Remembrance has been made this year in Bere Ferrers.
Inspired and erected by Mr Stan Sherrell, a finger post of 'Remembrance', lettering by Mr Tom Chapple, surrounded by numerous poppy crosses has been placed on a prominent bank on the outskirts of Bere Ferrers to mark the centenary of the start of World War One and to remember the fallen.
It is planned to repeat this tribute for the next four years.
