THERE will be goodies galore available to treat mothers to something special at a gift and craft fair being held in Tavistock Town Hall on Sunday.

The fair will offer many wares while raising money for Home-start — a charity that supports young families in Tavistock, Plymouth and the South Hams with difficulties, including isolation, sickness, disability, mental health, domestic abuse, multiple births and difficult relationships.

The charity provides emotional and practical support by way of a weekly volunteer and befriending service.

There will be free entry to the fair, which runs from 10am to 4pm this Sunday, although a collection box will be available for voluntary contributions.

There will also be a raffle on the day with prizes, including family days out to Pennywell Farm, Morwellham Quay and Dartmoor Zoo, as well as many other prizes.
