THE Northlew Amateur Dramatic Society (NADS) is treading the boards in the Victory Hall again on October 2 and 3 with two, one act plays and a supper in between.

First on stage will be ‘The Return of Lady Bracknell — an amateur company is producing Oscar Wilde’s ‘The Importance of Being Ernest’ when Lady Bracknell goes missing. However, the day is saved by a stranger who walks in off the street, but is she actually a stranger?

After a light supper of lasagne and apple crumble the second play concerns ladies in a home for retired gentlewomen when things take a nasty twist and it becomes apparent that one of their number may have been up to no good. ‘Nasty Things, Murders’ is bound to keep you wondering until the end.
