FOG, ice bergs and even whales were just some of the hazards encountered by a transatlantic sailor this summer, who will be recounting his adventures during a talk in Gulworthy Hall next week. Drummond Challis took a month to sail the route from Chesapeak Bay on the East Coast of America, taking in Halifax and Nova Scotia on his route back to Plymouth last year. His talk takes place on Friday February 25 at 7.30pm ? all are welcome.
