FORMER Callington resident Kyla Goodey who was instrumental in helping CAVe (Callington Arts Venue) get off the ground last year is returning with her theatre company 'Trifle Gathering' to perform a new show tonight in the town hall (Thursday).

The company presents 'A Curious Evening of Trance and Rap with the Ogden Sisters' following its huge success with 'Charity Shop Cabaret' in 2009.

The original piece of work is an intimate theatrical experience looking into the fascinating world of mediums and the origins of the spiritualist movement.

Travelling back in time to a darkened room set in 1892, brave observers are invited to join the world famous Ogden sisters at their table as they present the marvellous, the mysterious and the spiritually peculiar.

Drawing together clowning, choreography, magic, photography and deeply tragic comical characters, this show is an absurd and all-embracing experience laced together by a wild, poignant story.

The show begins at 7.30pm and tickets, priced at £8.50 and £6, will be available on the door.
