A NEW and unique training course for dogs is coming to West Devon this summer. The Gundog Club is pleased to announce the launch of a new Gundog Training Course at Spreyton. A grade one course for beginners will start in June and will be the sixth course to be run from the site in Spreyton. The course, taught by Gundog Club accredited assessors, will be an introduction to gundog training for beginners and takes place over eight weeks with one hour weekly sessions. The Gundog Club is aiming to introduce more gundog owners to the sport and help them channel their pet's natural desires and talents into a useful and exciting activity. Over the eight weeks students will train their dogs in basic obedience and simple retrieving, preparing them for a test that will take place in the final week of the course. Similar courses take place throughout the UK. A total of thirty courses are available to book online.
