A MARKET trader who had around 400 videos stolen, has thanked fellow Tavistock Pannier Market stallholders for their generosity in raising £345, by holding a whip-round for the unfortunate video trader.
David Evans from Gunnislake had much of his Christmas stock stolen when thieves broke into the market between 7.30pm, on Friday November 23, and 8am, on Saturday, November 24.
Mr Evans says the goodwill and support from the people of Tavistock has helped him get some new stock to replace the videos which were stolen.
Mr Evans is offering a £1,000 reward for anyone who comes forward with information leading to a conviction.
Anyone who does have information is asked to contact PC Stuart Gibbons of Tavistock police.
