A YEAR in the life of Hatherleigh is captured in a new calendar. Over the past year, the team at the community website http://www.hatherleigh.net">www.hatherleigh.net have collected quite a few photos of the town and chosen some of the best ones for a ?jewel case? calendar for 2007. Each page features a shot appropriate to that month, for example, the Walrus Dippers appear on the January page. Some pages have a single picture and others have four. The front cover features one of the favourite shots taken by website editor Geoff Hodgkinson which captures the excitement of Hatherleigh Carnival procession in November. Geoff said: ?The calendar comes in the form of a CD ?jewel? case, which opens out to form a stand. That means it will fit nicely on a desk, mantlepiece or even a windowsill.? The limited edition calendar comes with a free protective mailing wallet, making it simple to mail to friends or relatives overseas.
