TAVISTOCK hockey club mens first team travelled to Camborne to face Duchy in their first warm-up match of the season.

Both teams started well before 10 minutes into the match Duchy found the back of the net with P Mingo getting the final touch.

Tavistock found their feet before the home side began passing the ball well and visitors' heads soon dropped after Duchy scored another two goals in quick succession.

Tavistock played better in the second half with some good passing and better movement, allowing Lloyd Colin a chance at goal narrowly missing.

Daniels finally found Tavistock's goal after some more good passing and vision from G Amann and Phil Edwards.

Despite some great goal keeping and better hockey in the second half Tavistock lost 7 -1 full time, but look forward to facing PGSOB's this Saturday.
