I WAS horrified to read on the front cover of your newspaper (March 23), a quote by the principal of Tavistock College saying, ?For the first time the people of Tavistock will be able to enjoy a high quality (sports/leisure) facility and all the associated health and social benefits?. My husband and I have been members of the Bodyzone Health Club in Tavistock for over six years and have very much enjoyed using the wide variety of gym equipment and facilities, the conducive atmosphere to exercise and the friendly help of the staff. The sports centre plans for the college are great news for the students but it is simply not true to say that ?this is a fantastic chance to provide Tavistock with a facility the community currently lacks? ? we know, we have been using Bodyzone!
