THE Band of the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary will perform its last ever concert in Tavistock to help raise funds for the British Heart Foundation on October 6.
Tavistock Town Hall will be the venue for the event, with the hope that the people of the town will give this popular band a big send off before it disbands at the end of the year.
Kris Budge of the Tavistock Committee of the British Heart Foundation said: ?We are delighted that the band has agreed to hold one of its last concerts to help us raise funds to further the aims of the foundation.
?It is very sad that this will be the last chance for the people of Tavistock to hear such a wonderful group of musicians. Hopefully the concert will be a great success and we will be able to give them a great big Tavistock send off.?
