Saltash Utd U14s 1
Tavistock Town U14s 2
TAVISTOCK made an encouraging start, playing good football with Kelly threatening and the defence keeping out an early corner.
Saltash remained dangerous on the attack, missing a number of chances created by slack marking and ball watching.
Just before half-time McCall played a through ball to Coulston who lobbed the keeper from outside the penalty area to give Tavistock the lead.
Saltash began the second half strongly and Webber made a brilliant save, tipping the ball over the bar.
Saltash missed further opportunities to level and Bray made some fine covering tackles before good passing by Hammond led to Doyle scoring from inside the box to make it 2-0.
Fazakerly came on as substitute and McCall did well to keep his self-control as he was continually fouled. A free kick went wide and shortly before the end Saltash pounced to make it 2-1. A needless free kick gave Saltash an opportunity to level but it was easily saved and Town registered their first win of the season.

Chaddlewood Miners U14s 0
AFTER a couple of early scares and Chaddlewood hitting the post Tavistock went into the lead with a well struck shot by Doyle running onto a Smith pass.
Tavistock began to pass the ball well with chances being created for Doyle and McCall. Fazakerly pounced onto the ball in front of the keeper and fired it into the net.
Coulston made it 3-0 just before half-time with a well placed lob into the top corner following an early cross from Kelly on the left.
Webber was called into action early in the second half and made a good save to prevent Chaddlewood scoring. Tavistock applied pressure on their opponents with Smith and McCall controlling midfield. Dolye beat the keeper to a long ball from Bray to make it 4-0 and with Tavistock's pace always a threat it was soon 5-0 with substitute Hammond scoring from a Doyle cross.
Coulston had a good long range shot saved as Tavistock continued to dominate. Hammond then scored two further goals for his hat-trick following good early crosses from the right.
Man of the match: Mark Webber. Manager's man of the match : Ashley Doyle.

St Clear U12s 2
TAVISTOCK played a superb game of football for their first win this season.
The team of Griffiths, Payne, Waddle, Pluckrose, Smyly, Leggett, Follett, Morgan, Law, Cleave and Williams played a lovely passing game that did not allow the opposition to get into the match.
After the break and with the introduction of Tonge, Stephenson and Adams, the quick movement and fresh legs kept pushing St Cleer deep into their own half.
The goals were mostly made by good team build-up and passing football. A credit must go to the whole team who played outstandingly.
Scorers: Jordan Williams (2), Steve Law, Sean Cleave, Mike Morgan and Ross Leggett.
