TAVISTOCK town centre was buzzing for the vibrant and exciting Tavistock Edge Festival, which took place on Saturday, July 6.
The festival saw free events take place in several locations including Bedford Square, The Bedford Hotel and St Eustachius’ Church, with over 30 billed acts and various spontaneous performances. It was estimated well over 1,000 people visited the festival, some bridging the gap between pogoing to punk in the Square and relaxing to the orchestra in The Bedford Hotel’s garden, by jousting at the Medieval Fayre in the churchyard.
A spokesperson for the festival said: ‘Thanks go to every one of the artistes who so willingly gave their time and talent for free to entertain townsfolk and visitors alike.
‘Tavistock Edge is hugely grateful to all who participated in any way — please find us on Facebook to find out more!’
