AN Okehampton GP is taking on arguably his toughest fundraising challenge to date to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Dr Tim Watson, GP Partner at Okehampton Medical Centre is aiming to raise £500 for Prostate Cancer UK.

As a keen fitness enthusiast who has undertaken  challenges before, Dr Watson is taking part in possibly his toughest challenge yet, ‘Tim’s Big Triathlon’.

Dr Watson said: ‘This month I’ll be taking part in the River Dart 10k swim, then the Wales in a Day 184 mile cycle ride from the north coast of Wales off to the south coast and then to round off a gentle little 26 mile jog up Scottish mountains in the Glen Coe Marathon.

‘Three sports, three countries one slightly bemused muppet who thought it all sounded such a great idea!’

Prostate Cancer UK is the UK’s largest men’s health charity, which aims to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life.
