TWO members of two members of Bere Alston Trekkers (Bats) are training hard for this year's Flora London Marathon on Sunday April 22. Dotty Allan and Samantha Grylls have both spent the winter undertaking a tough training schedule which has included some long weekend runs, tough interval training sessions during the week in all kinds of weather, as well as taking part in some arduous races. They will be raising money for South West Children's Hospice and hope to beat their target of £1,350. Regretfully, Mary Kelly, the third member of the club due to run, has had to defer due to injury, but she hopes to run next year.
