THE Tri, Tri and Tri Again team from Bratton Clovelly are nearing the end of their fundraising challenge to raise money for the Devon Air Ambulance.
The team, consisting of Mervyn and Susie Rice from Bratton Clovelly and Jason Walker from Uffculme, set themselves the challenge of completing three Olympic distance triathlons as a team with Susie swimming 1500m, Jason cycling 40km and Mervyn running 10km.
With the Hayle Triathlon completed in 2hrs 48mins 24secs and the Plymouth Triathlon slightly slower in 2hrs 54mins 15secs, due to a much tougher cycle and run, it now just leaves the London Triathlon at Excel Centre on August 9 — where the team are hoping for their best time.
