MORE than 30 students from Tavistock College have been honoured at a special presentation, to mark their 100% attendance record for the year.
A spokesperson for the school said it was always 'very keen' to reward those students who had completed an entire year without absence.
The ceremony was also attended by local businessman and sponsor Rob Moule.
The spokesperson said: 'Attendance at college is critical to students' success and achievement and no-one knows this better than Mr Moule.
'Mr Moule is an ex-Tavistock College student who now owns his own business and has kindly sponsored our 100% attendance rewards scheme.
'Each student will receive a college certificate as well as a £10 voucher which will be presented by Mr Moule from RM Builders and Contractors as well as the principal, Helen Salmon at a lunch event organised to celebrate this fantastic achievement.'
'Thirty four students from the college will receive this reward this year. Well done to these students!'
