A COMPANION dog show held at Lewdown Victory Hall on March 2 raised a total of £744 for the charity Animal Matters.

The Devon German Shepherd Dog Rescue organised the event, and thanked everyone who supported the successful event.

Results:

Winners of the four Pedigree classes: AV Puppy (6-12 months), Denver (Paige Edens); AV Sporting and reserve best in show, Ditto (Debbie Edens); AV non sporting, Sky (Peter Williams); AV Open and best in show, Della (Martha Chamness).

Winners of the ten Novelty classes: Crossbreed, Dylan (Sarah Johns); veteran, Storm (Karen Wade); rescued/rehomed, Tilly (Lisa Cameron); long coat and best in show, Millie (Kim Mullaney); short coat, Mouse (Trish Curran); appealing eyes and reserve best in show, Duchess (Emily Richards); handsome male, Jake (Terri Andrews); prettiest female, Annie (Elizabeth Thompson); best movement, Zac (Lisa Randle); dog judge would take home and reserve best in show, Duchess (Emily Richards).
