THE problems of car parking in Tavistock remain emotive and no one solution will cure the problem for everyone. Nevertheless, it cannot be helped when the example I witnessed on the morning of Tuesday June 28 in the Bedford Square car park prevails. There were 12 paid up cars parked ? fee paid and in date sticker attached ? eight police cars and 14 with either disability or town council notices. All the ?freebie? parkers were still there over one hour later, thus denying the bona fide visitor to the town the option of parking there. Richard Wraith [email protected]">[email protected]
