I WOULD like to say a huge big thank you to Tony the street cleaner, who works so hard, picking up litter in the area where I live. I noticed him last Wednesday, working very hard, not only picking up litter, but also weeding and sweeping up the leaves. I stopped to thank him personally and said what a brilliant job he was doing.

This morning I saw him again, weeding and cleaning up in Garden Lane.

When we came to live here a short time ago I noticed how bad the litter problem was in Garden Lane, especially by the café area.

With the caring, hard work Tony puts in, keeping it clean, I can happily say the lane is a much nicer place to walk.

I feel people like Tony are so valuable to the community and deserve recognition for all their dedicated work.
