Tavistock School Reunion Association celebrated another successful reunion at the town hall.
It was attended by approximately 100 former pupils of all ages, who had left the school at least 25 years ago.
The celebration also marked the 50th anniversary of the conversion of Tavistock Grammar School to Tavistock Comprehensive School. It was one of the first in the country and today, as Tavistock Community College, is one of the largest schools in the country.
The original school was created by monks in 981AD.
The reunion was marked by a large cake accompanied by inscribed book tokens
Pictured are some of those who joined the school in 1951, who met for a celebratory lunch at the Dartmoor Inn, Merrivale.
