THE closure of a 25-year-old Tavistock store will be marked today as Toddle In shuts its doors for a final time.
Noreen Causley, who is retiring aged 75, having run the Paddon?s Row store for the past quarter century, is extending a big thank you to all her customers.
Noreen said: ?I?ve really enjoyed running the shop ? so many people have come in over the past few weeks and said they?ll really miss Toddle In, that there?s nothing else like it in the area.?
The shop is at the end of its lease, and since Noreen was planning to retire at the end of the year anyway she decided to take an extra few months off.
Ann Valmerana, from whom Noreen leases the premises, said they do not know who will move into the store yet although they have received some expressions of interest.
