TWO young Kelly College swimmers took to the water at dusk in aid of St Lukes Hospice recently.

Josh Boon, 12, and Ella Ellis, 11, joined several others in the Tinside at Twilight charity swim at the Tinside Lido on Plymouths sea front.

Swimmers could choose to swim either 1.5, 2 or 5 km in the chilly 15 degree water.

Josh completed a 2km swim as quickly as possible, followed a short time later by Ella who was the first of the 5km swimmers to finish.

Ella was raising money for the charity after both her grandmother and great-grandfather were cared for by the hospice.
