TAVISTOCK enjoyed a night to remember on Tuesday night, as Bedford Square was turned into a giant party venue celebrating the start of the Tour of Britain's fifth stage from the town yesterday (Wednesday).
In front of the fantastically decorated town hall, band after band entertained from the big stage.
And once the rain stopped, the enthusiasm of the crowd mounted — a rapturous reception greeted headliner Seth Lakeman and the evening reached a climax with Mad Dog Mcrea, who had the crowds literally dancing in the streets.
'This is how the square should be' seemed to be the quote of what the crowds deemed a fantastic night.
