£100 fines for dropping cigarette butts appears to be the order of the day in Exeter, so is this likely to also apply at Okehampton and Tavistock. And, does the dropping of crisp packets, sweet wrappers and other litter attract a similar fine? Who knows? 

Maybe West Devon Borough Council could enlighten and remind us all, the young and older in society, of the rules through the Times newspapers.  'Keep Britain Tidy'  was a useful slogan at one time.
